Exclusive: Akshay Kumar’s ‘Chandni Chowk to China’

So once again after almost a decade our own ‘Delhi da Munda‘, Daredevil Akshay kumar is set ready to be back with his Khiladi image. These days Akshay is shooting for Nikhil Advani’s next directional flick ‘Chandni Chowk to China‘.

Jointly produced by Warner Brothers and Rohan Sippy, ‘Chandni Chowk To China‘ fits the athletic star like a glove. It would give Akshay a chance to return to his rugged ‘Khiladi’ roots, with lots of sophisticated fight sequences thrown in. According to Nikhil its a action comedy and have some relly thrilling action sequences.

“It’s an action comedy. It’s a very big film to be shot in the Far East with very sophisticated technical effects done abroad. It would be more than ‘Dhoom 2‘, but would be very much like ‘Dhoom‘ in mood. ‘Dhoom‘ had more comic elements…. Call it talent or luck, but right now I’m only riding piggyback on the reputation of Rohan Sippy and Akshay,” Advani revealed.

‘Chandni Chowk to China‘ also stars Deepika Padukone in a double role, this will be deepika’s third release and second with double role after Sharukh Khan’s Superhit blockbuster ‘Om Shanti Om‘.

Yet for viewers there are more surprise item in ‘Chandni Chowk to China’ as the ”Bombay se aaya mera dost‘ hit song by Bappi Lahri is also reworked and re-sung by Bappi himself.

So let see will the success story for Akshay after Namastey London, Heyy Baby and Bhul bhulaiya continues with ‘Chandni chowk to China’
