James Bond Turning ‘Gay’

James Bond star Daniel Craig has admitted that he doesn’t mind the idea of his womanising superspy 007 character having a same-sex fling.

The British hunk, who is currently filming the hit franchise’s latest outing Quantum Of Solace, said that he would like to see his macho character modernised.

Producer Michael Wilson claims the notoriously promiscuous secret agent - portrayed on screen by Craig - was so heartbroken by the death of his lover Vesper Lynd in previous movie Casino Royale he has lost interest in the opposite sex.Wilson said: “We felt that Bond could not immediately fall into another relationship. He is looking for a measure of comfort in his life.”

However, Craig revealed Bond does get up close and personal with new Bond girl Gemma Arterton, explaining: “He has one relationship in this movie.
